SLHarnessView - for viewing and exploring Cable Harness Systems in various data formats
SLHarnessView allows for easy import of cable harness engineering data and shows the cable arrangement in a powerful graphic viewer.
As a stand-alone tool and provided with similar viewing functionality as common CAD tools SLHarnessView enables detailed investigations of cable harness designs without needing direct access to the original CAD software.
SLHarnessView is ideal to demonstrate to the board net engineer required changes in cable laying, e.g. to fulfill electromagnetic compatibility.

Why is SLHarnessView so valuable to you?
- Easy to use
- Post-layout: view of imported cable harness files
- Pre-layout: creation of cable configurations
- Support of generic cables, bundles and cable groups
- Support of three-dimensional cable laying
- Tabular view of Harness Engineering Information model files (Step AP2.12 / KBL)
- Built-in editor allowing changes in the harness geometry
- Linkage between signal lines and connector pins for easy connectivity checks
- Support of object groups (cables, connectors, ground shapes, etc.) for quick identification of specific parts
- Export functionality of the harness design in common graphic formats (e.g. jpeg)
